We sit down with Stefano Fiorelli, guitarist and vocalist of the Pesaro, Italy based stoner, doom, sludge metal band Warcoe. We discuss the band’s new single and upcoming album of the same name, A Place For Demons, album set to release on Regain Records and Helter Skelter Productions later in 2023.
We talked about their last album The Giant’s Dream, their unique black metal aesthetic and their influences and creative journey as a band. We also discuss Italian cinema, Spaghetti Westerns, Ennio Morricone, Lucio Fulci, Giallo films and more. We also discuss Italian wine culture, their general lack of craft breweries, Pesaro’s food scene and the difficulty of booking shows in Southern Italy.
