Following the path of their previous works, this band strikes again, now with a dose of pure and rotten Death Metal.

Ancient Crypts was conceived in Santiago, Chile’s capital city {circa 2012} by Nyarlathotep {vocals and guitars / ex- Unaussprechlichen Kulten} and Skullfukk {drums and also in Invincible Force, Praise the Flame} as a duo they recorded a couple of demos {Promo 2012 A.B. and Devoured by Serpents}, lately in 2014 Dead Goat {Invincible Force} joins the band as guitar player too. Highly influenced by such acts like Asphyx among others but forging their own personality the band walk through the darkest and most nauseating of paths, giving the listener a convulsing experience soaked in mid-pace assault, crushing and killer riffing and an incessant drumming attack, from the slowest to most maddening speeds and of course the band’s powerful vocals.

This new opus starts with Introduction: Andante Allucinatorio, a proper prelude for the next to come, the unmerciful Amorphous Simphony of Accurssed Flutes a brutal 3:30 piece ready to convulse and provoke all dead things everywhere.

It’s quite interesting to see how these guys keep their sound and vibe since the first demo ’til this new stuff. Sarcophagidaes is a furious testimony to how you can combine all sorts of influences like (thrash metal hints for example).

After that Inhaling the Fumes … only bring us doom and desolation. This is total slow Metal of Death! Sick chords, bass guitar emanating pulses there is no place to run or hide. And the last track called He Spoke Behind the Mask of Clay clearly dedicated to the human race.

The lyrical content is about mesmerizing Lovecraftian topics, death and ancient pre-Columbian cultures masterfully handled and blended for this Southamerican Death Squad!

In 2019 the band has added Pablo Cortes (a member of Supression another excellent Chilean DM act) for the bass guitar duties.

So, don’t miss in this amazing piece of rotwork and get yours!
